You likely already have a Scrum board, but enhancing it can make a big difference. Instead of just listing columns like "To Do, In Progress, and Done," break down the workflow into clear steps that represent how work truly progresses.
Key Actions:
Ensure the board reflects the actual workflow states. However, avoid having a “Blocked” column - mark user stories as blocked/flagged in the states they got blocked.
Make your team’s policies explicit—define what “done” means for each stage. Have clear start and end points for your work in progress.
